Ethical Principles

  1. The therapist realizes that the only thing that distinguishes him from the person who uses his services is the level of theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the AFT / A4M procedures.
  2. The therapist realizes that he should approach the client's problems with personal openness, without bias and superiority, with the utmost of objectivity. It should respect the past, the present and the future of every person using his services, including his age, gender, race, nationality, religion, sexual orientation, social, economic and political status.
  3. The therapist respects the right to privacy of every person who uses his services. The therapist must, in accordance with the law, protect the data provided by a person using his services and must not misuse the results of his work for power, sexual, political, economic, religious or other manipulation.
  4. Collaboration with a person using his services may not be a deliberate service to a third party. The third person provides the therapist with detailed information only on the basis of the person's authorized consent.
  5. The therapist is aware of the boundaries of his field. The theoretical knowledge and skills of the AFT / A4M procedures do not justify it to councils in fields other than those in which they are trained.
  6. The therapist seeks to avoid claims that might cause confusion, misunderstanding, or fear in a person using his services.
  7. The therapist must be able to explain the essence of his / her work, the basics of the AFT / A4M and the procedures he / she uses on request. The techniques he has chosen to use are practiced with the utmost precision.
  8. Therapist does not use misleading and dishonest means of promoting his services.
  9. Therapist has the right to request financial or other pre-agreed remuneration for his services. It also has the right to reject a person who intends to use his services, especially if he can not guarantee compliance with the above principles for some reason.
  10. If the therapist, in co-operation with a person using his services, gets into a situation where he is not satisfied with how he or she has been in contact with that person, or whether he or she has an internal conflict from a situation that isn´t managed sufficiently, uses the possibility of supervision.
